Farmers using homeopathy
When researching about the foot and mouth disease in the internet I remembered a little story from a friend:
Her parents were pig farmers in Germany. Once she told me that her mother used to give the piglets all kind of medicine prescribed by the vet. At one time, they changed to homeopathy. Although she never really studied the subject, she was able to treat her pigs herself. The result was great. Before homeopathy during an outbreak of an epidemic all her pigs might have died. However later, maybe one or two pigs died but never the whole population in the farm anymore. This farmer’s wife knew all the acute remedies by heart!
This story somehow sounds very similar to the following one:
When there was an outbreak of the foot and mouth disease in England in 1967, 1968 and in 1981 it seems to be that many farms have been saved by using Borax 30C in south England (http://www.homeopathic.org/content/farmers-told-not-to-rely-on-homeopathic-remedy). Is it really by chance or does the amount of farmers suggest that homeopathic treatment in cattle is a real alternative?
