About the Japanese Society of Classical Homeopathy (JSCHOM)/ Nihon Classical Homeopathy Kyokai (NCHK)

Our Aims

Establishing a voice

For our interests of building up a unified profession accepted by the Japanese Government we need to establish a voice.

Building up a register of homeopaths

With the register of highly trained and qualified homeopaths, we gain a high standard of professional practice of homeopathy in Japan.

Building up task forces

With our members, we created task forces for dealing with current challenges (i.e insurance, newsletter, translation of scientific papers and more)

Creating a support network

We are creating a support network, a safe platform for exchange and continuous education. We offer national and international seminars and working groups in all areas of Japan (link).

Promote the interests of Classical Homeopaths

We want to protect and promote the interests of Classical Homeopaths. Unified we are able to mediate our views in the media. We can create information materials. (we are non-profit, aren’t we?)

Supporting homeopathic Research

Specific substances which are indispensable to Japanese in their daily lives do not appear in hitherto provings, therefore it is important to undertake provings of known remedies in Japan as well as provings of new substances to enrich the Materia Medica and Repertory.

Cooperation on the national and international level

We are working on the national and international level with other Homeopaths and homeopathic organisations. We applied for a membership of the International Council for Homeopathy. Our aim is to incorporate the ICH guidelines in Japan in order to secure a high standard of homeopathy.
