Jo Daly’s seminar October 2011
JSCHOM held the 2nd International seminar on October 8th-10th in Kyoto with Jo Daly, the former dean of Education at the School of Homeopathy, New York. 44 students from 3 different schools and 17 professional homeopaths attended the seminar.
Jo offered lots of wisdom for students and for practitioners.
She made a short and interesting overview about the development of homeopathy from Hahnemann until now.
Her clinical cases included among others Lyme Disease, Cancer, Arthritis and Colitis. For the Lyme disease case, she provided us with its clinical picture and its conventional treatment methods.
Her cancer case of a woman who was already dying yet survived more than 20 years encouraged all of us just to try to do our best.
On the last day, she took us into the exciting world of sea remedies. Many new and small remedies were introduced and two cases wth smaller remedies were presented.
It was an “Overall informative and encouraging seminar for everyone” as one of the participants said at the end of the seminar.
Another practitioner summed it up:
“It was very inspiring to hear something that you would never hear from a person unless they are a homeopath with a long career during which they have encountered cases that take a long time to resolve and which have caused them a lot of work and worries on the way”
Thank you for coming and giving us such an inspring lecture Jo!
