Registration procedures for the first four years (1st Jan 2011 - 31st Dec 2014)
- The applicant should have 5 years of homeopathic training and practice with at least 3 years of formal education. After the formal training, the applicant should have been involved in homeopathy in any form like training with another homeopath (apprentice-ship) or continuous education.
- The applicant should have received formal supervision for at least 6 constitutional cases with two follow-ups over a period of at least 1 year. The supervisor’s names should be provided.
- The applicant should present 5 recent (from the last two years) successful cases taken over a period of at least 6 months with 2 follow ups (without supervision). The cases should be selected and prepared according to the guideline “selection and preparations of submitted cases (in Japanese)”.
- The applicant should write a summary of about 2 pages how they practice. This should include what methods he/she is using for finding the remedy and how he/she proceeds in case difficulties in case management arise.
- In an oral interview, usually taken by phone, the code of ethics and some more details about their cases might be checked. The oral interview is only for confirmation of the personal and professional data.
Registration procedures after 1st Jan 2015
- The applicant should have at least 3 years of education finished with graduation.
- The applicant should present 5 successful cases taken over a period of at least 6 months with 2 follow ups. The cases should be selected and prepared according to the guideline “selection and preparations of submitted cases”.
- The applicant should write a summary of about 2 pages how they practice. This should include what methods he/she is using for finding the remedy and how he/she proceeds in case difficulties in case management arise.
- In an oral interview, usually taken by phone, the ethical guidelines and some more details about their cases might be checked. The oral interview is only for confirmation of the personal and professional data.
For changing the set of registration procedures two thirds of the board must agree on it.
Fees for registration:
- The grandfathering period application fee is 10.000 Yen including the first year’s registration.
- The registration fee is 15.000 Yen and annual membership fee is 15.000 Yen.
The fees are for maintaining the register and the administration of the Society. The fees are not reimbursable.

Registered homeopaths: 15.000 Yen
Rights of the registered homeopaths
- Can actively participate at the annual membership meeting of the JSCHOM, which includes the election of the board.
- Only registered homeopaths can be elected as board members
- Receives the title RJSCH
- The names of the registered homeopaths will be displayed on the homepage of JSCHOM.
- Can attend the seminars of JSCHOM at a reduced fee
Duties
- Practicing according to the code of ethics
- Observing the regulations of JSCHOM
- The registered homeopath must complete a minimum of 14 hours seminar (one weekend seminar) or other type of study/research per year.
- The homeopath shall renew his/her registration yearly.
